アトム reported non-consolidated operating profit of ¥26 million for the cumulative second quarter of fiscal 2024 (April–September), returning to profitability from an operating loss of ¥185 million in the same period of the previous year. Based on this, the company reported progress of 2.8% against its full-year plan of ¥930 million.
In addition, operating profit for the latest three-month period, July–September, was ¥491 million, 3.0 times the year-earlier level, while the operating margin improved substantially from 2.1% to 6.1%. For the second half, the company estimates that operating profit will expand to ¥904 million, 4.3 times the year-earlier level.
