FinTech Global announced the completion of an arranged securitization backed by TEPCO Fintech's lease receivables for residential solar power generation equipment and storage batteries. The transaction received JCR's highest rating and secured funding from institutional investors.
The transaction is an ABL backed by 3,593 lease payment receivables related to residential solar power generation equipment and storage batteries held by TEPCO Fintech from detached-house owners across Japan. Total funds raised amount to ¥3.878 billion, comprising ¥3 billion of senior ABL and ¥878 million of mezzanine ABL. The outstanding receivables balance is ¥5.161 billion. The structure is designed to facilitate funding through institutional investors.
On 28 September 2026, JCR assigned a AAA rating to the senior ABL and an A rating to the mezzanine ABL. The collateral assets are geographically diversified across Japan, reducing concentration risk involving specific obligors. The final repayment date is scheduled for 30 September 2041. FinTech Global stated that it intends to develop this securitization structure as a funding model for future transactions.
