DDC Research Lab has relaunched with 3 plans that are free for 1 month after joining. During the first month, the focus will be on practicing how to read materials and creating research cards.
DDC Research Lab has relaunched on note as a research lab for analyzing earnings summaries and other publicly available materials. The lab provides a place to organize facts, plans and unverified points from public materials and practice verifying them by returning to the sources.
Participation is based on using a research card to organize the article or primary source being examined, confirmed facts, plans stated in the materials, unverified points and the materials to check next. Hypotheses are to be limited to the business and its financial performance, while investment decisions such as stock price forecasts are to be avoided.
For the first month, the lab plans to keep its guidance focused and limit new posts to 3. On 17 August, it will use TOYO TIRE's earnings presentation materials as a case study, followed by Denka's on 24 August, to practice separating facts, plans and unverified points.
As of 9 August, the membership as a whole was reported to have 56 members, and the 3 plans currently available are free for 1 month after joining. The 3 plans are Standard, Pro and Premium, and the free period applies only when joining for the first time.
