At the クラサスケミカル Oita Complex in Oita City, automated equipment inspections using drones will be fully rolled out from fiscal 2027, with AI used to detect anomalies.
クラサスケミカル plans to fully launch automated equipment inspections using drones at its Oita Complex from fiscal 2027. The initiative aims to reduce the burden and cost of inspection work previously performed by employees.
As the foundation for its drone inspections, the company will introduce Drone Snap, an inspection app jointly developed by Mitsui E&S and ZENRIN DataCom. The app is expected to improve the efficiency of on-site inspection work.
The system also includes an AI-powered function for detecting equipment anomalies, which is expected to enable earlier detection and optimize work compared with conventional inspection methods.
