ZETA DIVISION's vocational school and T1 Esports Academy announce a business partnership at Tokyo Game Show 2026. ZGA is scheduled to open in April 2027 and will incorporate T1's talent-development expertise for the Japanese market.
GANYMEDE Inc., which operates professional esports team ZETA DIVISION, Vantan Inc., which is jointly developing ZGA, and South Korea's T1 Esports Academy have reached a basic agreement on a business partnership in esports talent development. The announcement was made at the ZETA DIVISION stage at Tokyo Game Show 2026, revealing plans to advance collaboration for the specialized school "ZETA DIVISION GAMING ACADEMY POWERED BY VANTAN (ZGA)," which is scheduled to open in April 2027.
As the first initiative under the partnership, the parties plan to offer ZGA students a special intensive course led by global professional team T1. The course will localize T1's player-development methods, cultivated in the professional scene, for Japan and is expected to be used to develop not only competitors but also business professionals working in the esports industry.
ZGA is planned to open in 3 cities, Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, with university, vocational and high school divisions. Building on the school concept announced by ZETA DIVISION and Vantan in March 2026, the initiative aims to develop talent supporting the esports industry, including tournament operations and content production, as well as player development.
Z1 involves three parties: GANYMEDE, which partners with ZETA DIVISION's headquarters; Vantan, which is jointly developing ZGA; and South Korea's T1 Esports Academy.
