Atrae has begun streaming a new YouTube show, “Who Actually Makes This? — The Teams Behind Those Hits,” on its “Company Employees” channel. The show's first guest, director Motohiro Katsuyuki (本広克行), discusses the team-building behind successful productions and behind-the-scenes stories in a two-part program.
Atrae, based in Minato, Tokyo, has added a new show to its YouTube channel “Company Employees.” Based on the perspective that “behind every hit known to everyone is a team whose members' names do not appear,” the two-part show explores how hitmakers build teams and approach their work. The host is comedian Morimoto Shintaro (森本しんたろう), and an Atrae team-building specialist also takes part in the program, which examines insights relevant to organisational development and management.
The first guest is film director Motohiro Katsuyuki (本広克行). The program introduces his approach to making films flexibly in response to conditions on the ground, including his policy of not forming a permanent “Motohiro team” and work methods that compare his filmmaking style with drunken boxing and throwing pottery on a wheel.
