AI storm Co.,Ltd. announced a policy of advancing the joint development of the business by transferring 80% of the shares of AIS DC Services and AICore Grid, which operate the data center business, to イクヨ. The transfer is being carried out as part of a review of the structure of the two subsidiaries established in May, with イクヨ set to assume control.
AIS DC Services was established to operate and manage data centers, while AICore Grid was established to build and own data centers. AI storm Co.,Ltd. will continue to hold 20% of the shares of each company.
The total transfer price is ¥1.6 million, and 80% stakes in both AIS DC Services and AICore Grid are scheduled to be transferred during October. Both companies have capital of ¥1 million, are not currently conducting business, and will be transferred at their initial investment amounts.
AI storm Co.,Ltd. has been discussing a joint business venture with イクヨ involving next-generation AI data centers and has stated a policy of accelerating business development and pursuing practical implementation through the transfer of control.
