Shikoku Electric Power integrated the corporate database LBC and business card information with kintone, promoting the centralization and sharing of customer information. In some cases, time spent gathering information before visits was reduced to 1/6, improving the efficiency of sales preparation.
Based on a proposal from ユーソナー, Shikoku Electric Power integrated and consolidated corporate and office information from LBC, one of Japan's largest corporate databases, and business card information with sales information in kintone, creating an environment in which customer information can be visualized and used across the organization. The use of intent data also makes it easier to identify prospective clients for solution proposals involving solar power, PPAs, and storage batteries.
The background to the implementation included the need to understand the different challenges faced by each industry and office. While information scattered across Excel, email, and personal notes was consolidated in kintone, customer touchpoint information such as business card details tended to remain with individuals.
The deciding factors were the ability to centrally manage office and business card information using LBC as a common code, and the ease of integrating it with sales information in kintone. The system's broad coverage, from local small and medium-sized enterprises to large companies, was also a factor. The support structure providing ongoing assistance was also well received.
As a result, the latest corporate and business card information is automatically collected in kintone, and the standardization of corporate attributes has improved the accuracy of searches and analysis. In some cases, time spent gathering information before visits was reduced to approximately 10 minutes, while the number of registered opportunities increased approximately 20-fold and activity histories increased approximately 50-fold.
