NIPPON ROAD CO., LTD. announced that it had entered into a business partnership agreement with professional football club Iwaki FC, effective from the 2026/27 season. The agreement is based on a shared commitment to creating social value and contributing to the local community through sport.
In July, the natural-turf conversion work at Iwaki FC Field in Iwaki FC Park was completed, and an opening event was held. President Toshiyuki Ishii (石井敏行) and other representatives of the company attended the event, which also welcomed local children.
The newly installed natural-turf pitch has high shock-absorption properties and is expected to improve the training environment for players while expanding sports opportunities for local residents. The previous artificial turf was replaced, and the pitch is scheduled to be used for a wide range of purposes, including as a training base and for tournaments and events.
