ミロク raised its full-year net income forecast from the previously projected profit of ¥610 million to a profit of ¥2.84 billion. Second-half net income was also substantially increased to a profit of ¥2.63 billion, with a record high expected for the first time in 21 periods.
On 25 August, ミロク announced a revision to its consolidated earnings forecast for the current fiscal year, raising its forecast for net income for the fiscal year ending October 2026 from the previously projected profit of ¥610 million to a profit of ¥2.84 billion. The company reported a loss of ¥2.52 billion in the previous fiscal year.
The forecast for second-half net income was also revised upward from a previously projected profit of ¥400 million to a profit of ¥2.63 billion. The company now expects to turn profitable, compared with a loss of ¥2.71 billion in the same period of the previous year.
The revision reflects plans to record gains on the sale of investment securities as extraordinary income and the finalization of the subsidy amount. An additional revision may be issued once the subsidy amount is finalized.
