Koikeya announced that its fan co-creation campaign, “Koikeya Revival General Election: Potato Chip Edition,” ended early because of emergency maintenance by the system provider. One product is scheduled to launch in original packaging from February 2027 onward.
Koikeya announced that it had ended the “Koikeya Revival General Election: Potato Chip Edition” ahead of schedule. The campaign was intended to launch the No. 1 products selected to date in original packaging from February 2027 onward. It began on 8 September this year and sought to revive products previously sold by Koikeya through fan voting.
The campaign was reportedly ended because the system provider’s emergency maintenance made it difficult to continue accepting votes and operating the campaign. Koikeya apologized for the confusion caused to participants.
Koikeya said that the lottery and prize shipments for entries and winning entries already submitted would proceed as scheduled. The campaign’s end time was changed from the originally scheduled 11:59 p.m. on the 8th to 11 a.m.
Koikeya said it deeply apologized for the inconvenience and disruption caused to participants and voters.
