カワサキモータースジャパン has announced plans to launch the new Ninja H2 CARBON in Japan around spring 2027. The model has been the company’s flagship since its debut in 2015, and this will mark the first return of domestic sales in six years.
The new model is a special “CARBON” edition combining a 998cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine with the company’s motorcycle-specific supercharger. Its design incorporates expertise from gas-turbine and aerospace technologies, improving torque and acceleration in the low-to-mid rpm range. The secondary reduction ratio has been shortened from the previous model to deliver a stronger sense of acceleration from a standstill.
The chassis is equipped with Brembo Hypure brake calipers, KYB AOS-II racing suspension and an Öhlins TTX36 rear suspension. It also features a comprehensive array of equipment, including electronic controls with 5 modes, cruise control and KQS. The body is finished in Mirror Coated Spark Black, with styling focused on aerodynamics.
The price has not been announced at this time, and the company says it will provide further details once it has been decided.
