Rikuzentakata City has formulated its Third Comprehensive Strategy and announced updates to its Population Vision and Comprehensive Strategy. It has also published materials on the results of public comments and the status of effectiveness reviews.
Rikuzentakata City announced that, with an update date of 15 October 2026, it had formulated the Third Rikuzentakata City Comprehensive Strategy covering the 5 years from fiscal 2026 onward. It also published the revised draft of the Population Vision and Third Comprehensive Strategy, revised in June 2026, in PDF format.
