Kakaku.com and KDDI announced that they would terminate their capital alliance. The parties agreed to an amicable termination and ended discussions concerning the tender offer (TOB) and changes to the capital structure.
At the same time, they agreed to continue their business alliance and plan to continue jointly developing and providing new services and cooperating in the digital marketing business.
KDDI will maintain its status as Kakaku.com's second-largest shareholder, holding 17.70% of the company's issued shares. Regarding the dispatch of an outside director, the director left office at the conclusion of the annual general meeting of shareholders in June. The impact of these changes is considered limited.
