At GTC Berlin, Jensen Huang (ジェンスン・フアン) announced DSX POD. DSX POD is a modular, containerized AI data center that can shorten deployment times once the site is prepared, and may eventually affect the Japanese market.
At NVIDIA's GTC Berlin keynote, Jensen Huang (ジェンスン・フアン) announced DSX POD. The offering is based on partners commercializing and delivering the reference design, and is positioned as an integrated solution covering on-site installation, commissioning and validation.
DSX POD's distinguishing feature is its use of a factory-assembled and validated containerized AI factory equipped with Vera Rubin rack-scale computing infrastructure. The core container has a standard 800V DC input, while cooling is 100% liquid-based, with a projected inlet temperature of 45°C. Deployment could be completed faster than with conventional approaches once the site is prepared, with a minimum period of 14 days indicated.
There is a view that deploying DSX POD in Japan could create new business opportunities for domestic vendors by combining shorter AI data center construction timelines with high-density cooling. Domestic and overseas partners are expected to consider using the DSX POD reference design to manufacture and provide systems for the Japanese market.
Officially, worldwide availability is scheduled to begin in early 2027, with multiple partners participating, including Dell, Armada, and Armada with Johnson Controls. No official list of Japanese companies involved in the domestic rollout has been published at this time, leaving supply and deployment through the partner network as an issue for consideration.
