US envoy Witkoff reportedly visited Kyiv and met with President Zelenskyy. The visit was described as the envoy's first trip to Kyiv, and attention is focused on the course of future negotiations.
As shuttle diplomacy by Envoy Witkoff and Kushner continues, the view has emerged that negotiations in Ukraine will become more difficult unless Russia makes concessions, as Russia gradually loses ground.
Meanwhile, there were also reports that a plan to end the war had been presented to Putin the previous day. With moves toward a ceasefire continuing, whether the shuttle diplomacy will bring about a ceasefire is seen as depending on developments to come.
