Cypress HD raises its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending August 2026. Revenue and profit are expected to exceed plan, driven by contributions from new stores, providing a significant boost to profit attributable to owners of the parent. Hitachi’s rebound, supported by its 75-day and 200-day moving averages, is continuing and the stock is approaching its recent recovery high.
Cypress HD revised its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending August 2026, raising its operating profit forecast from ¥850 million to ¥875 million. Customer traffic and spending per customer were strong across the company, including new stores, while improved labor productivity at stores also contributed. Revenue, operating profit and profit before tax are now expected to remain above the company’s plan.
Profit attributable to owners of the parent is expected to substantially exceed the previous forecast due to the recognition of deferred tax assets and the resulting recognition of adjustments to corporate income taxes. This is strengthening the factors behind the upside in profit.
Hitachi has rebounded with its 75-day and 200-day moving averages serving as support and is approaching the recovery high of ¥5,645 reached in late August. If the stock breaks above this level, the ¥5,830 high from mid-August could come within reach. The lagging span has moved above the mid-August recovery high, and a bullish signal is expected to emerge.
