West Japan Railway Company used a high-security API platform and TISI’s generative AI to automate API definition creation and review in a proof of concept. The initiative substantially reduced the time required for remediation and streamlined the process through to publication.
West Japan Railway Company has provided external data and operated systems for users since establishing its common API platform in 2020. However, creating and reviewing API definition files required advanced expertise, concentrating the work among specific personnel. With multiple vendors involved, repeated exchanges for verification and remediation were required, and in some cases it took approximately 1 month to publish an API.
The company conducted a proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstration experiment using generative AI on TISI’s high-security API platform service. It tested the automation of API definition creation, review and remediation to achieve both quality and efficiency.
