Sakata Seed Corporation will present a total of 5 exhibits at GREEN×EXPO 2027. The displays will welcome visitors with the central “Mirai no Hana” object and flower beds, as well as a special pavilion featuring plant illustrations.
Sakata Seed Corporation has published details of its exhibits at GREEN×EXPO 2027 on its special website. A total of 5 outdoor and indoor exhibits are planned to showcase the appeal of flowers and seeds and seedlings.
The central flower bed will feature “Mirai no Hana,” combined with approximately 160 flower varieties and 20 vegetable varieties developed by the company. The flowers will be arranged in deep indigo and yellow-green hues, with patterns inspired by the Japanese traditional kintsugi technique.
The special pavilion, “Traveling Seeds and Me,” will focus on interactive displays involving sight, sound, touch and smell. It will include live seed displays, an approximately 3-minute video, and a hands-on area where visitors can experience the work of a seed and seedling company.
The outdoor exhibition will center on the garden “Hyakka Sairan,” with plantings including blue-toned flower beds inspired by the sky and sea, a flower bed surrounding Mirai no Hana, and a potager to create seasonal color. Short-term indoor exhibitions will also be held in May and July.
Through its participation in GREEN×EXPO 2027, the company will communicate the appeal and potential of seeds and the links between plants, daily life and society, while providing an opportunity to consider the plants and lifestyles of the future.
