Mister Donut is completely revamping its staff uniforms. From September, all items will be switched to gender-neutral, unisex designs, and the company will introduce its first maternity-friendly uniforms.
Mister Donut has announced plans to revamp its staff uniforms. Starting in September, all items will gradually be redesigned as unisex garments that can be worn regardless of gender, and maternity-friendly uniforms will be introduced for the first time.
The company selected a design that received strong support in a survey. The uniforms are being designed by ジュン, which is behind brands including ROPÉ PICNIC, and will use stretch materials chosen for their functionality and durability. The shirts are designed to make arm movement easier, while the trousers feature a silhouette that does not cling to the body. The aprons will have pen pockets, and the shoes will be designed with safety in mind. Recycled polyester will also be used extensively.
The overall design is based on American workwear, with denim paired with polo shirts to create a look that is both casual and polished. The new uniforms will also be the company’s first maternity-friendly designs, broadening the options available to employees.
Mister Donut said the new uniforms are intended to help create stores that are comfortable for both staff and customers.
