The next leading force in AI is the ability to connect. Against a backdrop of turmoil in semiconductor stocks, partnerships focused on AI agents and RAG implementation are accelerating. The GMO group and related companies have announced a series of partnerships centered on MCP and AI connectors.
While the market has been unsettled by turmoil in US AI data-center stocks, GMO Internet Group has been redesigning workflows on the assumption that AI agents will be implemented in practice, announcing partnerships with Anthropic and Google Cloud in July and October. On 19 October, it announced the integration of GMO AI RAG, a corporate RAG solution, with JOINT AI Flow, which connects to more than 110 business systems, strengthening its ability to integrate corporate data.
GMOグローバルサイン・ホールディングス, another GMO group subsidiary, made GMO AIコネクト a subsidiary in April 2026 and subsequently announced MCP support for GMOトラスト・ログイン and GMOサイン. In September, it began a proof of concept for verifying the identities of AI agents and announced RAG integration on 19 October. Combining ISTS’s authentication infrastructure with AI integration, it is strengthening the links between internal documents and business systems.
