After acquiring 資さんうどん, SKYLARK HOLDINGS expanded its store network in the Kanto and Kansai regions, achieving substantial growth in the fiscal year ended December 2025, with revenue of ¥22.8 billion and operating profit of ¥1.1 billion. It also revised its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026 upward and outlined plans to reach at least 400 domestic stores and revenue of more than ¥120 billion by 2030.
SKYLARK HOLDINGS announced that its 資さんうどん business, now under its umbrella, generated revenue of ¥22.8 billion and operating profit of ¥1.1 billion in the fiscal year ended December 2025. Revenue rose 42% year on year and operating profit increased 71%, with the strengthened rollout of stores in the Kanto and Kansai regions cited as a contributing factor.
Concerns raised by parties involved regarding the return on investment relative to the acquisition price have also been dispelled by the results achieved over the past year. The number of 資さんうどん stores stood at 94 as of the fiscal year ended December 2025, up 27% year on year, while the synergies between new openings and store conversions supported revenue growth.
According to earnings-related materials released on 13 August 2026, the company plans to convert 26 stores, primarily to the 資さんうどん format, during the first half of fiscal 2026 and has also begun international expansion, including its first store in Taiwan. The number of domestic stores has expanded to 110, mainly through conversions, and the company is targeting at least 400 domestic stores and revenue of at least ¥120 billion by 2030. Its Taiwan rollout has been strong, and plans call for approximately 3 additional stores.
Under its medium-term business plan, the company intends to make 3 to 5 acquisitions over 3 years a core pillar of its growth strategy. To date, it has acquired 資さんうどん and しんぱち食堂, among others. The full-year 2026 plan assumes investment of ¥50 billion, with the company intending to continue growth investments through fiscal 2027. Its forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026 has been raised, with revenue increased from the previous forecast of ¥490 billion to ¥500 billion and operating profit from ¥33.5 billion to ¥35 billion.
