Citeline/Evaluate has announced the launch of Atlas CI, an agentic AI for competitive intelligence in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries, in the Japanese market. Atlas CI uses an industry-specific data platform and expert curation to organize and present information on competitors’ development activity, clinical trials, market access and licensing activity.
Atlas CI is designed specifically for competitive intelligence activities in the pharmaceutical industry, rather than being a repurposed general-purpose AI. It generates outputs based on relationships among assets, companies, indications, development stages and key events. All outputs include source information, enabling users to verify the supporting evidence and apply the results to analysis and decision-making.
Key use cases include preparing competitive landscape analyses, drug profiles, executive briefings and conference reports, as well as monitoring competing companies, assets and key events. A key feature is the ability to generate source-cited analytical results and shareable reports through natural-language questions.
The data platform includes more than 590,000 clinical trial records and more than 47,000 drug records, among other data, and integrates data on clinical development, commercialization and market access. Customers will be able to combine these data with their own data, conduct analyses and reflect the results in their strategies.
