ハイブリッドテクノロジーズ reported revenue of ¥4.87 billion for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending September 2026, up 110% year on year, and announced its transition to a holding company structure and an upward revision to its full-year forecast.
The company, which oversees businesses in Japan and overseas, outlined a policy of accelerating growth by expanding its overseas operations and human resources business amid a deepening shortage of IT personnel. Revenue for the nine-month period ended in the third quarter was ¥4.87 billion, up 110% year on year, while EBITDA reached ¥391 million, up 71%.
By segment, the development and overseas businesses, centered on Vietnam, performed strongly, with quarterly revenue of ¥663 million and an achievement rate of 342%. By contrast, the domestic development and Japan businesses remained at ¥1.682 billion, or 80% of the prior-year level, and the company plans to rebuild them through organizational restructuring.
The company decided to transition to a holding company structure effective 1 October 2026 and establish ハイブリッドワン, which will handle offshore development, and ShuHaRi, which will handle the domestic solutions business. This will strengthen its response to AI technologies and the assessment of profitability by business.
The full-year consolidated earnings forecast was also raised, with revenue revised to ¥6.859 billion from the previous forecast of ¥5.119 billion. Operating profit is expected to range from ¥187 million to ¥251 million, taking into account the effects of organizational reform costs and goodwill valuation.
The announcement outlines the company's growth strategy of using a hybrid Japan-Vietnam structure against the backdrop of a shortage of IT personnel. Going forward, the focus will be on strengthening the expertise of the 2 newly established companies.
Future developments to watch include capturing demand for AI implementation support and the replacement of aging systems, as well as faster management decision-making resulting from the transition to a holding company structure.
