NHK Yamaguchi Broadcasting Station is holding auditions for contract presenters and reporters to appear on television and radio programs. A small number of positions are available, and applicants must be able to begin working from March 2027 onward.
Duties include appearing on programs produced by NHK Yamaguchi Broadcasting Station, reporting and production work, appearances on radio news, weather forecasts and announcements, and PR work related to programs in which the presenter or reporter appears. The contract will be a one-year outsourcing contract.
Applicants must submit by post a résumé, a full-length photograph and a 400-character essay, among other materials. Applications must arrive by 30 November 2026. Applicants who pass the document screening will be contacted, and a camera test is scheduled for 19 December.
Compensation is approximately ¥3 million per year, with additional payments available under NHK regulations. Transportation, wardrobe and makeup costs are generally included in the compensation, while actual expenses incurred during reporting will be covered separately by NHK.
