日本ミシュランタイヤ announced that it will begin the phased launch of the new BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A+ tires for SUVs and 4x4 vehicles in mid-November. The tires use a newly developed all-weather compound and are intended to support a wide range of driving, from everyday travel to outdoor activities.
The new tires are designed with an on-road focus, combining comfort in urban areas and on expressways with capability on unpaved surfaces such as gravel roads and campsites. They feature sidewalls with the bold design associated with BFGoodrich.
The new compound contains a high proportion of silica to improve wet traction, and the tires carry 3PMSF markings certifying compliance with international severe-snow requirements. In addition, the tread is designed to distribute stress evenly across the contact patch, helping extend service life and prevent uneven wear.
All sizes have received low external-noise tire labeling, with the aim of reducing rolling resistance and improving comfort and fuel economy. The range comprises 39 sizes from 235/75R15 109T XL to 285/45R22 114H XL. Prices will be open.
