PROCREA HOLDINGS announced that unrealised losses on securities held by Aomori Michinoku Bank had reached ¥14.448 billion as of the end of September 2026. Although the unrealised loss represents a significant proportion of the previous fiscal year's profit, there is no change to the consolidated earnings forecast.
PROCREA HOLDINGS disclosed that Aomori Michinoku Bank had incurred unrealised losses on securities. The assets covered were all bonds held to maturity for which fair value could be reasonably determined, with total unrealised losses of ¥14.448 billion. The carrying amount was ¥216.590 billion and fair value was ¥202.155 billion.
The unrealised loss was equivalent to approximately 220.3% of the previous fiscal year's consolidated ordinary profit and approximately 381.8% of profit attributable to owners of the parent. Unrealised gains amounted to ¥13 million, resulting in a net loss of ¥14.435 billion.
Under Tokyo Stock Exchange criteria, timely disclosure is required when an unrealised loss amounts to at least 30% of the previous fiscal year's consolidated ordinary profit or net profit. The company said the current case met that threshold.
The company said there would be no change to its consolidated earnings forecast or dividend forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027.
