Ricoh PFU Computing will release the “RICOH EZX2100,” a dedicated PC for online eligibility verification for medical institutions, this winter. The terminal comes with the software preconfigured, reducing the setup burden at implementation.
Ricoh PFU Computing, based in Ebina, Kanagawa, announced that it will release the “RICOH EZX2100,” a dedicated PC for online eligibility verification, this winter. The compact unit incorporates the required software and is supplied after its operation has been verified, reducing the burden of equipment selection, advance testing and initial setup at implementation.
The terminal has a compact enclosure measuring 117.5 mm wide × 110 mm deep × 47.85 mm high and supports VESA mounting for installation on the back of a display. Its connection and operation with a card reader equipped with facial recognition have also been verified, reducing setup work at implementation.
Ricoh PFU will provide long-term supply of the same model and five years of advance-replacement, return-shipping maintenance as standard. If a fault occurs, a replacement unit will be shipped first to limit the impact on operations. Registration is required for maintenance.
The PC features Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 64-bit, an AMD Ryzen Embedded R2314 CPU, 16 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD. Its hardware specifications are stated to meet the requirements of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. The PC will be supplied through Ricoh Japan.
