FLN's Machi Supacha Project, a VTuber-based local promotion initiative, works with Niimi City, Okayama Prefecture, to promote the region using VTubers. It will exhibit at FAN2026, an event to be held on Saturday, 24 October 2026, at Niimi City Ikoi and Fureai Park.
The exhibition will feature panels introducing the project's activities with Niimi City to date and encourage visitors to participate in the initiative. Limited-edition stickers featuring VTubers will also be distributed to visitors to the exhibition booth. Quantities will be limited, and details will be announced on the official X account of the Machi Supacha Project.
The initiative aims to create a relationship population, giving FAN2026 visitors and fans an opportunity to discover Niimi City as a town worth supporting and creating opportunities to visit and support it. Going forward, the project will continue to promote the formation of a relationship population that contributes to developing local stakeholders and achieving sustainable regional revitalization.
To date, the initiative has been implemented in 8 municipalities: Hachimantai City, Iwate Prefecture; Niimi City, Okayama Prefecture; Hokota City, Ibaraki Prefecture; Kitakata City, Fukushima Prefecture; Tamana City, Kumamoto Prefecture; Tarui Town, Gifu Prefecture; Tsurui Village, Hokkaido; and Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture.
FLN's relationship-population creation business uses regional information media such as Nativ.media to design a series of opportunities: discovering, engaging with, experiencing and connecting with a region, and gaining more places to belong.
