広島電鉄 will begin operating the special “Night Tram 768” vehicle, where passengers can enjoy unlimited beer on board. From 31 October through next March, services will run mainly on Saturdays, with additional service on the final Friday of the month. The fare is ¥4,500 per person, or ¥7,000 for a plan including a bento.
As a new way to enjoy the evening on a tram, 広島電鉄 has launched an unlimited-drinks program for individual customers. The vehicle has a bright-red exterior inspired by the Hiroshima Carp and the autumn foliage of Miyajima. Its distinctive feature is that it repurposes the vehicle's previous operation for group customers for a new offering.
Services will operate mainly on Saturdays through next March, including the final Friday of each month, with no services in December. The fare is ¥4,500 per person before tax, or ¥7,000 for a plan including a meal such as a Musashi bento, a Hiroshima specialty.
The route departs Hiroshima Station in the evening, travels around the city for approximately 90 minutes and returns to the station where passengers boarded. Further details on the operating period and conditions are expected in future announcements.
