RISO KAGAKU CORPORATION announced that it will integrate VALEZUS T2200 with iCE LiNK to demonstrate unmanned bookbinding operations. The event will take place over 3 days at Horizon Smart Factory 2026 in HIP.
RISO KAGAKU CORPORATION will exhibit at Horizon Smart Factory 2026 in HIP, held at HIP in Takashima, Shiga Prefecture. At its booth, the company plans to demonstrate a fully automated workflow from printing through bookbinding by integrating VALEZUS T2200 with Horizon's AMR/AGV systems.
AMRs and AGVs will automatically transport sheets printed by VALEZUS T2200 to a buffer area, then load them into perfect-binding and saddle-stitching machines, completing the bookbinding process in a fully unmanned workflow.
VALEZUS is compatible with Horizon's cloud-based integrated management platform, iCE LiNK's Printer Dashboard, enabling printing operations and bookbinding progress to be managed on a single screen. This is expected to make it easier to monitor overall operating conditions.
In the packing and packaging process, Integlide will be combined with Horizon's box-forming system to print labels and designs on plain corrugated board on demand, with a demonstration of robotic automated assembly. A printing demonstration of ORPHIS GL9830 will also be held.
