The morning digest of stocks in focus reported movements in バリュエンス, ナレルグループ, スクリーンHD and others. The coverage centered on stocks affected by public offerings, earnings forecast revisions and earnings announcements.
ソシャルワイヤー fell sharply for a second consecutive session. It revised its full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027, lowering revenue to ¥4.350 billion and ordinary profit to ¥281 million. The revision was affected by reductions in and losses of major projects in its core business, as well as brokerage fees and business restructuring costs associated with the acquisition of SEIRYO shares. The company commented that it expects higher revenue and profit year on year and remains on a growth trajectory.
バリュエンス plunged and briefly hit its limit down. The company will issue 1.1 million new shares in a public offering, while SFプロパティマネジメント will sell 1.05 million shares, its representative director 嵜本 氏 will sell 50,000 shares, and up to 330,000 shares will be sold through an over-allotment. Shares outstanding after the public offering are expected to increase by approximately 7.9%, with estimated net proceeds of approximately ¥1.63682 billion. The funds will be used to open stores in Japan and overseas and for systems development, while the voting rights ratio is expected to decline.
ナレルグループ plunged. It lowered its consolidated full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending October 2026. Revenue was reduced from ¥29.250 billion to ¥23.279 billion and pretax profit from ¥2.940 billion to ¥2.495 billion. The revision was also affected by shortages in the number of employees and active personnel in the construction solutions business and the recognition of a loss on the transfer of ATJC shares. The dividend forecast is unchanged.
キオクシアHD fell sharply for a second consecutive session. Second-quarter operating profit was ¥1.9947 trillion, a substantial increase year on year. Non-GAAP operating profit guidance for the October-December quarter was ¥2 trillion, broadly in line with market expectations. Expectations for expansion in the January-March quarter are rising, although concerns about a slowdown in short-term earnings growth remain.
スクリーンHD fell sharply for a second consecutive session. Second-quarter operating profit was ¥40.2 billion, up 82.0% year on year but below the market forecast of approximately ¥42 billion. The full-year forecast remains unchanged at ¥156.5 billion. There is also speculation that the outlook for the WFE market may have been raised from the current fiscal year to the next.
三菱倉 fell sharply for the second consecutive session. First-half operating profit was ¥8.24 billion, up 9.3% year on year and broadly in line with market expectations. However, it lowered its full-year forecast from the previous ¥17.5 billion to ¥15.5 billion. The company has announced the acquisition of 阪急阪神エクスプレス, and advisory fees are believed to be a factor behind the downward revision.
