Osaka-based 鍜治田工務店 has adopted PROCOLLA, an AI cloud-based construction scheduling tool. The company aims to improve schedule management from the preliminary estimating stage through to construction sites and promote information sharing and standardisation.
Osaka-based 鍜治田工務店 announced that it had adopted PROCOLLA, an AI cloud-based construction scheduling tool. The objectives are to improve the efficiency of schedule management from the preliminary estimating stage through to construction sites, create an environment in which knowledge can be shared among personnel, and strengthen collaboration within the group.
The background to the adoption includes the heavy workload involved in preliminary estimates before orders are won, which in some years can amount to around 100 cases. Conventional schedule preparation software was primarily local-based, making it difficult to identify the latest version, and reliance on individual personnel had become a challenge.
A key factor in the decision was the prospect of sharing information in the cloud in anticipation of integration with the existing 現場ナビ工程 construction scheduling system. The BIM Strategy Department is also moving property registration and schedule management to the system and evaluating applications for estimating and payment management.
