Dynamic Map Platform exhibited at the Business Day of Tokyo Game Show 2026, held at Makuhari Messe. At its booth, the company exchanged information with game developers, XR-related companies and others, discussing demand for and potential applications of spatial data in XR content outside the gaming field and in simulation.
The company introduced solutions for game development using high-precision 3D map data, point-cloud data and 3D Gaussian Splatting data. It also displayed a promotional video for "Apex Point," an open-world driving game developed by French indie game studio Apex Studio, as well as a demo video featuring 3DGS data using actual road spaces and streetscapes.
Visitors expressed interest in more efficient content production, greater realism, new production methods using 3DGS and more efficient surveys of overseas locations. Interest also focused on the company's development and provision of data coverage spanning approximately 1.8 million km across 26 countries worldwide, including Japan.
