SASAL, a platform supporting overseas expansion, is stepping up its offering for Japanese companies. From 1 October 2026, it will provide an environment with enhanced Japanese-language support and automatic translation, bringing together overseas strategy development, partner discovery, business discussions and transactions in one place.
SASAL, an overseas expansion support platform, provides online access to a company directory, strategic planning, messaging and a transaction workspace, and has launched its offering for Japanese companies. It emphasises that the platform creates opportunities to connect with companies in countries around the world, as well as Japanese companies, and provides an environment for pursuing collaboration and transactions.
The platform's main uses are described as fourfold: organising overseas expansion strategies and plans, finding cross-border partners, communicating in business discussions and transactions, and exploring business opportunities based on project information. SASAL explains that this helps companies define the process from selecting potential markets for entry through to execution.
As part of its full-scale rollout for Japanese companies, SASAL released an improved version with Japanese-language support on 1 October 2026. The platform can now be viewed in Japanese, and the messaging function automatically translates received messages into Japanese. SASAL states that it will continue making improvements based on feedback from client companies.
SASAL is provided by SASAL, INC, based in New York, US, and was established in 2022. The company officially describes its services as supporting growth in overseas markets, from strategy development and partner searches through to business discussions and the execution of transactions.
