Tokyo-based Seta Engineering announced that it had entered into an exclusive business partnership with Vietnam’s Work Station and would begin providing end-to-end support, from recruiting engineers for Japanese companies to contracted development and design services and the promotion of DX. The Japanese side will handle customer relations, contracts and project management, while the Vietnamese side will be responsible for securing and training technical talent and providing operational support.
Seta Engineering, which provides technical talent placement and contracted design services, announced that it would begin collaborating with Vietnam-based talent and technical support company Work Station under an exclusive business partnership. The arrangement will provide consistent support to Japanese companies, from recruiting engineers through contracted development and design services and digital transformation (DX) in the construction sector.
Seta Engineering will handle customer relations, proposals, contracts and project management in Japan, while Work Station will be responsible for securing and training technical talent and providing operational support in Vietnam. Work Station partners with 20 leading universities in Vietnam and maintains a database of more than 40,000 science and engineering professionals. It will introduce engineers in the mechanical, electrical, architectural and IT fields to Japanese companies.
In addition to talent placement, the companies will undertake contracted mechanical and electrical design and software development through a “lab model,” in which dedicated teams are established for customers in Vietnam. In the architecture and civil engineering fields, they will also provide design support and construction drawing preparation using BIM, as well as develop AI-enabled safety management and automation tools.
Established in 2015, Work Station supports Japanese companies by identifying and developing technical talent, providing Japanese-language and business etiquette training, and supporting design and development. Seta Engineering said Japan’s shortage of talent in manufacturing, architecture and IT is becoming increasingly severe, and aims to promote talent acquisition and DX at design sites by working with Vietnam’s talent base.
