Ichinen Holdings announced that it had revised upward its first-half consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027. Under the revised outlook, revenue is projected at ¥95,160 million, operating profit at ¥6,664 million, ordinary profit at ¥6,602 million and interim net income attributable to owners of the parent at ¥8,608 million.
The main factors behind the revision include continued strength in used-car market conditions in the company’s core automobile leasing-related business and an increase in gains on the sale of vehicles reaching the end of their lease terms. In addition, sales in the chemicals and agricultural solutions businesses were reportedly strong, reflecting stockpiling and brought-forward demand against the backdrop of growing instability in the Middle East.
The revised forecast is expected to exceed the previous earnings forecast announced on 5 August 2026.
