Kaga Electronics attracted buying interest after raising its full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 and increasing its dividend forecast, sending the stock sharply higher to a year-to-date high.
Kaga Electronics, an independent, full-service electronics trading company, surged. As of 12:30 p.m., the upward revision to its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 and the increase in its dividend forecast provided a buying incentive.
Under the new full-year forecast, revenue was raised from ¥660 billion to ¥760 billion and operating profit from ¥30 billion to ¥32 billion, resulting in expectations for higher revenue and profit.
For dividends, a special dividend of ¥10 will be added to the previous ¥70 for both the interim and year-end dividends, bringing the expected annual dividend to ¥160. The stock closed at ¥5,420, up ¥300 from the previous day.
