TISI株式会社 introduced Capy’s FIDO-compliant passkey authentication platform for Kosei Securities’ online trading service, which began operating in September 2026.
TISI株式会社, in collaboration with Capy株式会社, introduced a FIDO-compliant passkey authentication platform to Kosei Securities’ online trading site. The solution enables passwordless authentication and provides phishing-resistant security. The implementation was carried out with the aim of launching the service in September 2026.
The FIDO passkey authentication platform supports passwordless authentication using facial recognition, fingerprint recognition or a PIN on the user’s device, aiming to provide both greater security and convenience than conventional password authentication. This is expected to improve the security of the login environment for online trading.
The implementation project began with the PoC and system development in March 2026. Although implementation normally takes around 6 months, TISI株式会社 completed implementation of the passkey authentication component in 3 months and completed the overall implementation in June. Following Kosei Securities’ preparation period, the service was launched in September.
Amid an increase in phishing attacks and unauthorized access in the financial industry, demand is growing for advanced authentication measures. The company has indicated that it will continue rolling out passkey authentication to financial institutions facing similar challenges.
