Trading volume on the TSE Prime Market was 2,208.59 million shares, and trading value was ¥7.9134 trillion. The number of advancing stocks remained in the 880-to-900 range, while decliners were fewer.
By sector, 15 of the 33 sectors declined and 18 advanced. Decliners included アシックス, 第一三共 and pharmaceutical stocks, while shipping and mining stocks advanced.
Among other stocks, セイコーＧ, オプトラン and 扶桑化学 were among the decliners, while 住友化 and ＧＭＯインタ were among the advancers.
