VERTEX CORPORATION announced that ordinary profit in its consolidated results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending April 2026 was ¥540 million, down 53.1% year on year.
The first-half ordinary profit forecast was revised downward by 44.0%, from the previous ¥2.5 billion to ¥1.4 billion, resulting in a forecast for a 42.3% decline in profit. Meanwhile, the full-year ordinary profit forecast was maintained at the previous ¥7.25 billion.
In the latest three-month period, revenue for the April-June quarter was ¥8,241 million, while the operating profit margin fell to 5.5% from 12.4% a year earlier.
