Tokyo Gas offers several city-gas rate plans, including the Standard Rate, Zuttomo Gas, the Danran heating plan, the Eco-Will power-generation eco plan and the Ene-Farm power-generation eco plan. Under the Danran heating plan in winter, the applicable discounts and rates differ.
Zuttomo Gas uses prices independently set by Tokyo Gas following gas-market liberalisation. Gas bills consist of a usage-based charge and a standard charge, with different rate structures in the Gunma and Tokyo areas. The Pachocco Points program is also available, awarding points for every ¥1,000 spent.
When gas and electricity are contracted together, a 0.5% discount applies to the electricity standard charge and usage-based charges. The new-application discount also provides 1 month free of the standard charge. The supply area mainly covers Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Tochigi, Ibaraki and Gunma prefectures.
The rate tables show the standard and usage-based charges for the Standard Rate and Zuttomo Gas in each area. The Danran heating plan, Eco-Will and Ene-Farm may also be eligible for limited-time discounts during the winter period.
