The results of the 2026 High School Freshman Miss Contest were announced, with Makoto from Fukuoka Prefecture selected as the Grand Prix winner and Rian from Osaka Prefecture named runner-up. The Grand Prix winner received ¥100,000 in prize money, and the event was held at Zepp Haneda on 29 July.
Makoto from Fukuoka Prefecture was selected as the Grand Prix winner from among 8 finalists, while Rian from Osaka Prefecture was named runner-up.
Makoto said, “I’m happy because I’ve had so much support,” and, after becoming a finalist in the Miss High School Student Contest, expressed determination to “win the Grand Prix at all costs.”
The Grand Prix prize was ¥100,000 in cash. The awards were announced on 29 July during the “TGC teen 2026 Summer supported by PROF” event at Zepp Haneda.
The Grand Prix and runner-up results for the Junior High School First-Year Miss Contest, Junior High School First-Year Mister Contest and High School Freshman Mister Contest were also announced at the event.
