Forgent Power Solutions CFO Ryan Fiedler announced his departure, sending the stock down more than 12% in premarket trading. Amy Ard was appointed as the new CFO.
Forgent Power Solutions shares fell 12.2% in premarket trading. The decline came after Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Ryan Fiedler disclosed that he would be leaving the company to pursue an external consulting role. The board appointed Executive Vice President of Finance Amy Ard as his successor.
Fiedler joined the company in mid-2025 and, drawing on capital-markets experience from his previous employers, was a key figure in leading its NYSE listing and record performance in fiscal 2026.
The announcement coincided with market concerns over a major executive move involving the CFO position, while softer analyst views and broad market weakness further accelerated the share-price decline.
The stock is currently trading near $27.90, approaching its 52-week low of $25.95.
