ニッキ raised its first-half ordinary profit forecast from the previous estimate, revising the outlook to a 16% increase. The full-year earnings forecast was also revised upward, updating the current-year figures.
On 28 October, after the close of trading, ニッキ raised its forecast for consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending April 2026 (April–September) from ¥600 million to ¥690 million. The first-half profit growth rate is therefore expected to be 16.0%. Revenue was described as having remained firm.
At the same time, the full-year consolidated ordinary profit forecast was raised from ¥950 million to ¥970 million, narrowing the expected decline from the previous fiscal year. Net income and the dividend per share were also revised, and the overall earnings outlook for the current fiscal year is expected to exceed the previous forecast.
The reasons cited for the revision include stronger-than-expected sales of general-purpose products for the US market and the profit-boosting effect of the weaker yen. A note states that future results may fluctuate depending on market conditions and other factors.
