At its earnings briefing, Yokohama Reito announced medium-term targets for fiscal 2030 of ¥170 billion in revenue, ¥10 billion in operating profit, ¥17 billion in EBITDA and ROE of 7%. It also outlined a policy of simultaneously pursuing full automation of its refrigerated warehouses and higher profit margins in food sales.
At a briefing for individual investors on 18 September 2026, Yokohama Reito set medium-term targets for fiscal 2030 of ¥170 billion in revenue, ¥10 billion in operating profit, ¥17 billion in EBITDA and ROE of 7%. The company reaffirmed the strength of its hybrid business model, which seeks stable growth through both refrigerated warehousing and food sales.
The refrigerated warehousing business has 57 domestic and 6 overseas locations, with capacity of approximately 1.26 million tonnes, and demand is expanding mainly in port areas. The Tohoku Food Valley Logistics Center was completed in 2025 and features a fully automated warehouse, reducing the workforce required for normal operations from 20–25 people to 2–3.
The company also plans to complete its sixth location in Thailand in 2027. In its food sales business, it is pursuing a structural shift focused on profit margins and aims to improve margins through the introduction of ROIC, while acknowledging that there is an upper limit. Going forward, it is considering expanding sales by increasing its range of more highly processed products and expanding overseas. The upward revision in August 2026 applied only to net income, and the company explained that revisions to operating profit and ordinary profit would be disclosed depending on progress. It also plans to pay a dividend of ¥27 for the fiscal year ending September 2026.
The release of the medium-term plan also identified issues raised during the question-and-answer session, including responses to rising seawater temperatures, stronger cybersecurity and the timing of future earnings announcements. It was also noted that the timing for announcing a long-term plan has not been decided, but the company confirmed its policy of maintaining a highly transparent disclosure stance through its earnings briefings.
