Day 1 Company is set to fully launch its enterprise AX business after acquiring SpaceY. SpaceY supports operational transformation through an FDE-centered approach, and the two companies will expand beyond education into practical transformation initiatives.
South Korean education startup Day 1 Company has announced the acquisition of enterprise AX company SpaceY. Through the acquisition, Day 1 Company plans to expand the assets it has built through AI education into the corporate AI transformation (AX) market. Founded in 2022, SpaceY is an enterprise AX startup that runs AI implementation projects for major domestic companies and has achieved a 100% renewal rate.
SpaceY’s core FDE model involves deploying engineers on-site to understand operational structures and directly design and implement AI services. The approach resembles the execution strategy used by Palantir in the United States and is characterized by close engagement with frontline operations.
Following the acquisition, the two companies will expand their business beyond education and human resource development into direct transformation at operational sites. Their plan is to use Day 1 Company’s educational content and corporate customer base to develop demand for AX, then combine SpaceY’s FDE and AI agent capabilities to deliver actual projects. SpaceY also plans to accelerate its AX business by leveraging Day 1 Company’s corporate network.
