The new product is designed to improve machining accuracy and enable polishing to be performed by the machine. This is intended to reduce reliance on skilled technicians for manual polishing work.
Maximum load capacity has been increased 50% from the previous machine to 1200 kg. The design also accommodates the trend toward larger molds for automotive parts, against a backdrop of efforts to reduce the number of components and advance integration.
Discussions with customers are already under way at JIMTOF, creating opportunities to engage with companies seeking to reduce the polishing process for molds. The company is targeting annual sales of 200 machines and promoting the consolidation of mold-production processes.
