The broadcast notes for Mine Ryuta (峰竜太) and Everyone's Shinshu provide information on exhibition facilities and tourism around Mount Ontake, ropeway operations and a giveaway announcement.
This week's broadcast introduced the Kiso Town Ontake Visitor Center and facilities at the foot of Mount Ontake, with a focus on the mountain. Sato Terrace Mitake, operated by Kiso Town, has exhibitions on the history, volcanic activity and culture of Mount Ontake. Yama Terrace Otaki, operated by Nagano Prefecture, features exhibitions on the disasters associated with Mount Ontake, as well as rock ptarmigan exhibits, and has been developed to allow visitors to enjoy views from the summit area.
Sato Terrace has a community space and gallery, and visitors can explore the surrounding area using a gondola-style sightseeing ropeway. The ropeway reaches the fifth station of Mount Ontake in just over 10 minutes, and pets are allowed on board. It is scheduled to operate through 8 November, although times and operating conditions may change depending on the weather.
The programme also explained the history of tourism development and the use of local resources for tourism. Listeners were informed about exhibitions and tourism opportunities related to Mount Ontake, as well as Ginza NAGANO, which is scheduled to be featured in the next broadcast. The giveaway prizes are an original Sato Terrace 3D model keychain of Mount Ontake and a pair of Ontake Ropeway tickets.
