i-plug Group announced the establishment of the “i-plug Early Career Research Institute,” a research organisation that will use proprietary data to examine the “present and future” of young people’s careers and ways of life. Tanaka Nobuaki (田中伸明) will become its inaugural director.
The institute will go beyond superficial generational analysis to develop a deeper understanding of young people’s potential and views on their careers, and will analyse from multiple perspectives the issues involved in future development, engagement and resolving mismatches. Through the regular publication of data and analytical articles, it will propose new human-resources strategies that enable people and organisations to grow together.
After graduating from Kwansei Gakuin University’s School of Economics, Tanaka Nobuaki (田中伸明) gained experience at Globis and elsewhere before serving successively as a director as a founding member of i-plug. He is scheduled to become director of the i-plug Early Career Research Institute in September 2026 and indicated that he intends to propose “new ways of engaging” with young people in light of changes in their environment and the impact of generative AI.
According to the company profile, the Representative Director is Yamada Masato (山田 雅人), and the company had 324 employees as of the end of March 2026. The company provides services including human-resources strategy support and aptitude testing.
